In Syria, terrorist militias dug the grave of Umar bin Abdul Aziz, and treated his wife and servant’s grave the same way. The incident has provoked outrage in the Muslim Ummah and a trend has been going on on social media since last day in which Muslims are expressing their emotions.
It should be noted, that Umar bin Abdul Aziz bin Marwan bin Hukam was the eighth caliph of the Umayyad Caliphate and sat on the throne after Sulaiman bin Abdul Malik. He is also called the fifth caliph Rashid because of his good character while he is also known as caliph Saleh.
