WASHINGTON (Radio Pakistan) — April 9, 2026: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has described the US-Iran ceasefire as a victory of diplomacy and dialogue, highlighting Pakistan’s role in encouraging negotiations.
In an interview with CNN, the ambassador said Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement had continued for several weeks and successfully culminated in the announcement of a ceasefire and talks.
