Veteran Pakistani actress Azra Aftab who has been a popular face in the showbiz industry for many years has recently expressed her disappointment.

Aftab has recently said that I have been working in the entertainment industry for over forty years, in fact, all the artists of the Quetta industry consider me the mother of the drama industry, unfortunately, I have yet to receive the pride of performance award.

She said that a large part of my life has been spent working in dramas, but I have never yet received an award to show for it. 

This time also I was nominated for the Pride of Performance award but I did not get it. The award is meant to encourage any artist, but to date, I have not been given this kind of encouragement, she said.

Her strong facial expressions and lively voice are her specialties.
