COVID-19: Seventy-Five deaths in one day as the number of patients continue increasing
According to a report by Baaghi TV, the second wave of corona in Pakistan has intensified. While there have been 75 deaths in one day, 2,829 patients have been reported.
During the last four and a half months in Pakistan, the highest number of deaths from corona in a single day has been 75. The total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has risen to 8,166. Meanwhile, 345,365 patients have recovered, and 49,780 are undergoing treatment.

Most deaths from corona virus have occurred in Punjab, where 3,066 people have lost their lives. 2,962 people have lost their lives in Sindh, 1,375 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 324 in Islamabad, 97 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 169 in Balochistan and 173 in Azad Kashmir. The number of corona cases in Islamabad is 30,748, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 47,701, Sindh 1,75,642, Punjab 120,356, Balochistan 17,215, Azad Kashmir 6,982 and Gilgit-Baltistan 4,667.

According to the NCOC, the death rate from corona in Pakistan has risen to 2.02%. 76% of those killed by the virus are over 50 years old. Seventy-two percent of corona patients who died from corona also had other illnesses. Ninety-one percent of those killed by Corona died in hospitals. In hospitals, 58% of corona patients are on ventilators.
