The 24-year-old officer belongs to War Mamund tehsil in Bajaur, an area traditionally considered underserved in terms of educational opportunities for women. According to family sources, she passed the competitive examination in her first attempt following the recent announcement of results.

Muniba Hussain completed her undergraduate studies in English from the National University of Modern Languages, where she secured first position before appearing in Pakistan’s most competitive civil service examination.
Her father, Dr. Muhammad Arshad Hussain, serves as an associate professor at Khyber Medical University, reflecting a strong academic background that supported her educational journey.
Family members described her achievement as the fulfillment of a long-held ambition.
