PIA's glorious past is a source of national pride. Its pioneering role, international connectivity, professional standards and renowned hospitality made it an ambassador of Pakistan across the world. The challenge today is to revive that legacy and translate it into a modern, competitive and commercially sustainable airline.
A Boost to International Operations
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with its advanced technology, fuel efficiency and passenger-comfort features, offers PIA an opportunity to strengthen its long-haul operations, particularly on important international routes such as Pakistan–United Kingdom.
Additional capacity can help attract overseas Pakistanis, business travellers, students and families while improving connectivity and creating opportunities for increased revenue.
However, the real commercial benefits will depend on effective route planning, competitive fares, aircraft utilisation and consistent operational performance.
Rebranding Must Begin with Better Services
A modern aircraft alone cannot restore an airline's reputation. PIA's rebranding must be supported by a visible improvement in the passenger experience.

Priority areas should include punctuality, reliable operations, quality inflight catering, professional cabin services, efficient baggage handling, modern booking facilities and responsive customer support.
PIA must also strengthen its international sales network, improve its digital presence and rebuild relationships with overseas Pakistanis and travel partners.
The objective should be to make passengers choose PIA not merely out of national sentiment, but because it offers a dependable and competitive travel experience.
Congratulations to the New CEO and Thanks to the Outgoing Leadership
AOOA Pakistan extends its warm congratulations and best wishes to the incoming CEO. There could hardly be a better time to begin this important responsibility than with the arrival of the Dreamliner. It provides a valuable opportunity to build momentum and lead PIA towards a new era of operational excellence and commercial growth.
AOOA Pakistan also sincerely appreciates the outgoing CEO and his team for their efforts in making this important development possible. Their contribution deserves recognition.

For AOOA Pakistan, the Dreamliner represents an encouraging new beginning. The real achievement will be to transform this milestone into a sustainable revival of PIA.
