November 6, 1947, is the blackest day in the history of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). It is also a dark chapter of Muslim genocide in modern history, on this day over Two Lac Muslims were martyred when they were migrating to Pakistan.
In addition, the day of November 6, 1947, has a symbolic value in terms of the accession of the State of Jammu to Pakistan. This day is celebrated all over Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan and all over the world in memory of these martyrs. It should be noted, these sacrifices told the whole world that the people of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) want to live with Pakistan.
The planning of genocide was started on the very first day when the creation of Pakistan was announced. On July 19, the Muslim Conference passed a resolution for the state’s accession to Pakistan. Keeping in view of passion and love with Pakistan by the people of the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the Hindu and Dogra regime was shaken and they began the implementation of a plan to eliminate Muslims.
In this regard, Udhampur, Reasi, Khatia, Ramsu, Ramnagar, Yanihaur Kotli, towns were bleeding – shed with the blood of Muslims. Thousands of villagers were tricked out of their homes and shot down by extremist Hindus and Sikhs. Keep in mind here, the activists of the Rashtriya Swayamesyak Sangh (RSS) played a vital role in planning and executing the targeted genocide of Muslims in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Moreover, thousands of innocent girls and women were abducted. The massacre was so well-organized that no one in Jammu and Srinagar was aware of it and even when the massacre took place in Jammu in the early days of November, no one in Srinagar was aware of it. In fact, all this happened at the behest of the Congress government.
It is pertinent to mention here, for the last 74 years Kashmiris are being subjected to genocide through a comprehensive strategy under the rule of Hindutva ideology. Today, the modus operandi of Indian occupied forces includes; Demographic change, enforced disappearances, Custodial Killings, and other tactics.
In my point of view, the solution to the Kashmir issue is possible only when the three parties to the issue, Pakistan, India, and the Kashmiri leadership, come together and find a dignified solution. But, India is pursuing the policy of ducking the Kashmir issue.
The first Prime Minister of India had promised the international community and the Kashmiris themselves that the Kashmiris would be given the right to self-determination. But, contrary to that with the passage of time India’s position changed, and the promise has not been fulfilled yet. Lasting peace in South Asia is possible only if this long-standing dispute between the two nuclear-armed countries is resolved. If this is not done, peace, security, and stability in the region are not possible.
In case of any debacle in the region, the world community should keep in mind; India is solely responsible for this, who’s running away from United Nations’ resolutions for plebiscite in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The escalation of tensions between Pakistan and India due to India’s aggressive occupation of the occupied valley and its aggressive attitude cannot be ignored. India has also made arrangements to take matters in this direction.
If the Kashmir issue is not resolved, it is not possible to end the tension between the two nuclear powers. If this issue leads to the use of nuclear power, it will have devastating effects on world peace. Therefore, it is imperative that the international community play its role in resolving the Kashmir issue and try to avoid a potentially catastrophic situation.
