Latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) shows that the number of new cases has exceeded 2,700 across Pakistan as of 19th November.
According to reports, the number of new cases reported has reached 2,738 while 36 lives have been lost as of November 19th, 2020. Of these, 32 deaths took place in hospitals across the country meanwhile, 4 deaths were reported out of hospital.
The total number of active cases is reported at 33,562 with 42,909 tests conducted in a single day. According to reports, provincial statistics show Sindh at 14,470, Punjab at 16,297, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) at 4,269, Islamabad (ICT) at 6,153, Balochistan at 704, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) at 198, and Azad Kashmir (AJK) at 818, respectively.
It is pertinent to note that since the outbreak spread across Pakistan, 327,542 people have recovered from COVID-19, meanwhile no patient is on ventilator in the AJK and Balochistan region. However, 203 vents are occupied out of a total of 1,793 ventilators allocated for Coronavirus patients in Pakistan.
A total of 368,665 cases have been detected so far with AJK at 5,806, Balochistan at 16,642, GB at 4,494, ICT at 25,719, KP at 43,359, Punjab at 112,893 and Sindh at 159,752.
Additionally, the death toll has risen to 7,561 with provincial statistics of 19th November showing Sindh at 2,780 (12 in-hospital deaths, 4 out of hospital deaths), Punjab at 2,811 (15 in-hospital deaths), KP at 1,319 (1 in-hospital death), ICT at 266 (1 in-hospital death), Balochistan at 158 (1 in-hospital death), GB at 93 (no deaths), and AJK at 134 (2 in-hospital deaths).
Since the outbreak, 5,098,291 tests have been conducted across the country as 770 hospitals strive to provide COVID-19 facilities to 2,018 patients admitted due to the Coronavirus.
